This is an awesome dressing and so easy to make.
low cal. Mayonaise
2% milk
grated Parmesan
1 clove garlic crushed or minced
salt & pepper to taste
Cover the bottom of a small bowl with mayonaise, pour enough milk on the mayonaise to cover it, mix until creamy, add the garlic and as much parmesan as you like , tasting inbetween. Salt & Pepper.
This dressing is a hit every time.
Exactly what I was looking for!!! Sounds yummy!!
1/3 cup plain non-fat yogurt, drained (or fat-free mayonnaise)
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp white wine vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp anchovy paste (optional)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, crushed
i made this blue cheese dressing last nite...soooooooo yummy...i made it with my southern fried chicken...scalloped potatoes and shrimp toast...not exactly a low fat dinner...LOL
Blue Cheese Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup crumbled blue cheese (about 4 ounces)
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 shallot, peeled
1 tablespoon freshly grated lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon celery seeds
2 tablespoons minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
Freshly ground black pepper
Pulse the mayonnaise, blue cheese, buttermilk, shallot, lemon zest, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and celery seeds in a food processor to make a chunky but pourable sauce. Stir in the parsley and season with plenty of pepper. Use immediately or refrigerate in a tightly sealed container for up to 3 days.
