It must have been a rerun I saw because it was only recently that I saw it ;-)
I have seen that episode twice (had to watch the rerun as I loved her laundry room!) and I'm sure that she said the floor was the same LINO that had been there before. If you are thinking of doing the same thing, you would find a good lino warmer and softer on the feet in a basement...
