okay, so i've been browsing the christmas thread...and love what you've all done with your christmas decorating....so i'm getting inspired...and decide i want to decorate my mantle with real bows. so yesterday, off i go into the woods behind by house with pruners in hand and come home with several arm loads of bows.....for my urn, staircase and mantel....i'm prepared and so in the christmas mode...yippy!!! not.....okay, do share the magical mystery of suspending bows from your mantle. ... i know there's some biggy secret involved here that i've been left out of the loop from. i've used push tacks....the bows aren't that big i'm using but they don't seem to be doing the trick......please advise....thanks : (

i got it....emergengy diverted....smallers bows...and a hammer to get through the oak.......mmmmmmmm it smells so pretty here.
