did it on one house , two looks and i think she used fancy stuff fronm the fabric store which is like you can see on restorationhardware.com she says if you have a strong machine you can do it . you can use leather/faux or anything you want show after pics !
you can buy edging tape (don't know the actual name of it) at sewing centers, I would imagine. I've also seen carpet edging at Canadian Tire, in the section where you can cut runner carpets to custom lengths. I hope this helps.
