Marble and granite clashing?

I have a somewhat open plan condo. The kitchen used to be completely closed but was later renoed to remove part of a corner wall facing the living/dining with a tall breakfast bar. The breakfast bar is topped with cream/beige/brown granite top that is visible from the dining room but does not really overhang into the dining room (i.e. you can't put stools under the bar). The dining area will be painted bleeker beige and has white trim. I was looking for a new glass dining table but instead fell in love with a white and grey marble topped table with stainless steel legs. I know things shouldn't be matchy-matchy, but is it going to clash to mix the marble (cool) and granite (warm)? I was going to put up stainless steel picture frames on the wall closest to the table to bring out the metal element of the table, but other than the baseboards and the blinds, there is no white in the room and definitely no grey. Thoughts?
