I am no longer a member of H&H or this MSN site, but it has some info that has come to my attention that I'd like to clarify.
I understand there is someone named Lisa claiming to be a friend of mine. I would like to clarify that I don't know who this person is, nor do I know why she's claiming to be a friend. I turned over the site to someone who wanted to remain anonymous - I guess this person has since turned it over to Lisa. Please make no affiliation between me and Lisa.

I can understand your feelings. I am hanging in here to add to my list of aliases I apparently have. Every so often I am accused of being someone else. I find this especially true when the upsets happen.

We don't like what happened over the last few weeks so we have to blame someone...
The "last few weeks" had gone on often here and the results have not always been the same, but most of the blamers have. It is hard for some to get over themselves. Some will read stuff into this as they always do, but that happens too. Eco I will miss you.

I`m sorry to say this but between the drama lovers and the uber-egos, this forum has turned into a school yard that I don`t want to play in anymore! I thought it was bad before but now it`s on the side of the ridiculous! Be it the blame everything on Foxxy slurs or the never ending quoting of posts to try to "protect new members"...
If people aren`t happy here, just leave! This is a voluntary participation situation...no one`s forcing you to stay and I for one am just sick of reading the accusations, slurs, old post regergetation and condescention. They serve no purpose in helping the situation.
Can`t people just come here and be respectful and open to all people and ideas???
I wish this were possible but from the moment I joined this forum, this has been difficult and has gotten increasing worse.

[B]As someone who knows what's going on, Paula handed it over to Lisa (not her real name) but Lisa wanted to stay completely isolated from this forum, so she changed her name so that it wasn't associated with this forum and she thought Paula knew that. But she has just emailed Paula to clarify it so that everyone knows. If Paula didn't know, then it would explain the misunderstanding. I see that Lisa just turned the forum over to Janet in good faith. I hope it works out for you all. My good gracious, what a mess. Just leave it to them to straighten out. Why does everyone have to get inthe middle of everything and go snooping. Just do what you came here for and let everythng else work itself out by itself. If you don't have to be involved, why would you be? As my mom said to me, mind your own business and let the forum go back to the intended purpose. I'm geting annoyed that everyone has to have something negative to say about someone each and every day, even when they're not around. Can we move on???????????????????? [/B]

wanna create an alias and use it...by all means go for it...personally i could care less ''who is who''...and ''what people meant by what''....however...i do care when innocent people are getting dragged into something that they know absoultely nothing about....yes life is too short i will agree with you on that one....but when someone is getting worried and scared...i'm sorry...IMO...that's a whole other ball game.....

France, I couldn't agree with you more.
I promised myself I wasn't going to get involved in all this drama (banishments, tyranny, aliases... is this a James Bond movie or our little forum??) but before I knew it, I let my frustrations with this forum and a small handful of its members get the better of me and I should have just walked away. I too ended up perpetrating the very aspect of this site that's become so distasteful lately.
Surely we all have better things to do than squibble, squabble and decipher who's who and judge what they meant by it. Life really is too short.
Hopefully in time this forum will settle down and return to what it was designed for.
In the mean time, if anyone's not comfortable with their info on the MSN site, then delete yourself. Simple solution.

corresponding with "lisa" when I was trying to get into the album site again. She even set up a hotmail account/password for me when mine wouldn't let me in. This is all so strange and unsettling...this person seemed very nice. I won't be visiting the msn albums anymore and now I don't even feel the same about this site.:( I hope I can get over it...

persona;;y I don't think the manager of the MSN site should not be a member of H&H, ven thought they have nothing to do with eachother it is how we get to know eachother and if someone is not willing to be a member here I think that is a problem
but then I took it off because I felt a bit uncomfortable as anyone could join and view the albums. I'm not saying that there's anything bad about that, it's just not in my comfort level. Everyone's is different and I respect that.
I agree that it's a little strange that someone that we've never heard of is moderating the site but ultimately the choice is up to each of us whether to post anything there or not.
Regarding that mystery person claiming that they were a "lurker"...I have to say that I don't think that there's anything strange about that. I can remember many instances when new forum members would introduce themselves by saying that they had "lurked" for a while before they got enough nerve to join. I guess some never get the nerve to. Lurking doesn't always have to be a bad thing.
The concern should be for those that lurk that you don't know about.

well sunshn...since you asked IMO it only requires 0 posts to be entiltled an opinion...but i can say that with only 6 posts to my name i didn't seem to know 1/4 of what Sylvia knows....but in my experience here i am finding that there is quite a few members with very lil posts that seem to know an awful lot about what goes on here....and a few using alias' to state opinions....IMO....if you have sumpin' to say....just say it....why use an alias...be proud of who you are and what your opinions are....but the again.....that JUST MY OPINION...as i always say...no one has to agree with me and i don't expect anyone to...hope i answered your question and feel free to ask me anymore...:cool:
i used to love jumping on this site and gaining insightful and useful information, even enjoyed the witty bantering amongst members. the knowledge and advice from members is what drew me here.
but wow lately i find myself often skipping right over this site. the drama is not my cup of tea.
the feeling here as of late brings back those uncomfortable junior high school years(insert sad face here).
what has happened? has the excessive force from the moderators created this tension or was it always lurking below the surface and i just never picked up on it until now? just wondering.

Personally, my opinion is seeing as the MSN site is such a mess, I would stay away from it. If the site is not secure, why go there?
I can't seem to join anyway, because of all the gliches, so why bother.
I am much happier here, where the site is secure and most days peaceful. :D
