Can you show us a sketch or a photo perhaps of what exactly you wanted to do? In decorating, balance and complementing all the things you put in your home is very important. And if you really wanted to place it a cool and fabulous manner, then I guess you need to have someone who's more expert in decorative ideas like this.
How do you plan to palce them. It depend on them. They need to compliment each other so your palcement should be right. Do you have any sketch on what you plan to do, it will be easier to give an opinion.
So you have a green light from here and now they become a design feature and will look fabulous I'm sure.
