:hairpull: He is coming for dinner tomorrow night, and I am sick of making the same old same old for him, Any ideas for something new to make....
Oh he doesn’t do tomatoes, he doesn’t like many veggies, he doesn’t like much pasta, but he will eat tomatoes sauce but only over elbow macaroni not long pasta of any kind... He doesn’t like how it feels in his mouth.
Any ideas would be a great help.... THANKS

What about couscous, a greek salad and chicken or lamb kebabs. Couscous is really easy to make, easier than rice.
Or pork chops, mash potatoes, gravy and green beans or a veggie that he does like.
If he likes spaghetti, make bolognaise sauce, and garlic bread and salad.

He is a hard one I know... Maybe a rost chicken.... thats a good idea, he does love mashpotatos. and veggies so plain for me but he will love it.

Sounds like good old meat and potato kind of guy. Bring on the Roast Chicken Mashed Potato and any veggie he'll eat and a salad. To shorten your coking time buy one of the Roaster Chickens from the Deli.
he wont eat any sea food, (I love it) he doesnt like stir fry.... BLAH he is a pain in the U know what...
I would normaly make rice, but we has it both Sat and Sunday nights, one night for dinner at my moms, one night for dinner with his parents.. LOL
Sounds just like DH but he doesn't like Tomato sauce and only macaroni noodle. Go in completely different direction as pasta is just not a good choice does he like rice. How about a Rissoto or will he do Seafood stirfry rice with Prawns and jsut the veggies he likes.

Nomaly we eat out, and once in a while I cook because he is so picky... But he is coming over late tomorrow he works til 8:30 and he will be at my house by 9.... so I will put my duaghter to bed, and we will get to have a nice quiet dinner alone for once...
he has 2 choices
1. cook himself
2. get take-out.
