My husband and I started landscaping our small front yard (18'x18') but quickly realized our limitations. We've since then had a professional come in and do the hardscaping. I will be doing the planting myself. I have some hostas of different varieties some boxwood and some euonymous. I'd like some suggestions for other plant material. I'd like a japanese garden look without the structure. The hardscaping is flagstone in green and russet tones. There is also a planter bed in a tumbled stone (grey & buff) and some river rock. Plants that offer both summer and winter interest and are easy to maintain would be best. Any help would be appreciated.
