Hi, I need some help please,I'll be ordering some dinning chairs for outside and I can't make up my mind which style at the bottom I should get. We got the casual chairs and the glider sofa last year, so now this year I want to get the chairs for the dinning area, I think I'm going to go with the same color green as the casual chairs, I just love that green color, this is the best time of the year to order this stuff, the Company is Winston, we have a store here in Red Deer called Kitchen and Patio.its the same as the Calgary Store, I just love their out door furniture. I'm puttting in pictures of what we have now, and also pictures of the dinning chairs that is in a grouping, and the single pictures of the dinning chairs. What style of chair do you like at the bottom.? The dinning chairs that I'm getting is the same style as the casual chairs that I already have, I didn't want to go to another style, I've made up my mind today with the help of the people that work at Kitchen and Patio, I'm going with the dinning chair that has the round base, they told me that they are way more comfortable, and you can swivel and tilt in the chairs, so I think I'm going with them.
Looks like both styles will work. ONE the arms of the chairs are more similar to the chairs you have, one they are more similar to your tables. I like the idea of the swivel and not adding more legs to the area if that feature works for you.
I love the colours. I would go with the ones with four legs. They have a cleaner look to match your other pieces well.
I like them both and I agree with Sweetpea that you can always mix them. We have a longer rectangular table with the swivel ones and the ends and two pairs of the four-legged ones on either side. The set came like that. I do find the swivel ones nice when you just want to swing around to face out toward the yard, but they're harder to move (the bases are a bit heavy).
Hi Lacombe...I love that set ,...the green/aqua & white swirl is sooo...fresh looking....I personally like the one with 4 legs but the swivel is is also nice & can be convnient when leaving the table. You could always get 2 swive,l one for each end of the table(like diningroom arm chairs)& 4 of the other for the sides;)
I like the open, cleaner looking bottom without all the "frilly" stuff. They will tie in better with your existing pieces I think.
That is a lovely patio set btw.
