We can't say this often enough! You can mix white and purple and orange, for example, and really have a colourful display in your shady spot. I seem to recall that lobelia need sun, I am not so sure they will work in your spot.
there seems to be an echo here...as I said...LOTS of colours LOL :)
the ones that come to mind first are IMPATIENS..they come in all colours and looooove the shade
....u will need to water them often tho...they come in lots of colours too...good luck
