Hello Kindernut,
You may find a pretzel-like beige in our 2011 Top Paint Colours video:

Good luck with the painting!

I used that colour in my son's room, its very nice:)
I chuckled when I read "pretzel" colour. Then I looked in my entryway and main floor powder room and thought, yup, that would qualify as "pretzel" coloured. LOL.
I used a Pratt & Lambert colour called Arizona. It's a warm medium brown colour - I actually matched the paint chip to a brown eggshell that I liked.
You might want to take a look at BM Capilano Bridge. Maybe a bit lighter than a pretzel, but a really nice warm tone.
A great neutral that works well with red accents is BM Lenox Tan.
Have a look at Auburn or maybe Russet shade, depending on how dark you want it.
I will check it out! I have a berry color right now and decided to go more red and even bought the paint- but not feeling it! I want to tone it down and have more red accents. We will see!
Take a look at BM Woodstock Tan. A friend of mine painted her main floor this colour and it is beautiful.
