NEUTRAL COLOR

Hi, I inherited my parents home and moving in it shortly.  After 6 months of renovations...I can't seem to find the right neutral.  I need some help.  It would be appreciated. I considered Revere Pewter, Bleeker Beige, but not in love with them... Thanks

I've got Benjamin Moore Mountain Peak White throughout my home - it looks different in different rooms at different times, sometimes greyish sometimes a yummy vanilla ice-cream colour (which looks great with the dark chocolate coloured floor) and it pretty much goes with everything. We've also got an off-white colour in two bedrooms and the basement which was there when we moved in - I didn't like it at first but I'm finding that it too pretty much goes with everything and gives the impression that it's sunny even when it's not.

You could also try HC-35 Powell Buff. It is a warm neutral.  Best of luck- Robin:)

Monroe Bisque is a great colour by Benjamin Moore. Our main floor is Lenox Tan by BM, nice neutral colour.

Choosing a neutral color really depends on your furniture, but I like the following paints from Benjamin Moore.

Hello suzie g,

Have you come across Lynda Reeves' list of favourite white paints?

http://houseandhome.com/design/best-selling-white-paints

There are several neutrals in there, too. I used CIL's Antique White in my principal bedroom, and it's actually a warm off-white. I absolutely love it. And it's different enough from white to pair with white-white trim.

Or watch this video for more of our favourite neutrals:

Good luck!

I use Monroe Bisque which has a brown undertone.  I can not remember whose colour it is though.  Pratt and Lambert or Ralph Lauren.  I also like Hammock by Ralph Lauren (I think) that has a yellow undertone.
