... I found some new hydrangeas! They were at canadian tire yesterday for 9.99 (a one gallon size shrub...). Great price! I googled them and they were cultivated only a couple of years ago. They seem to have rave reviews with the gardener's of the world.... lol
One is like a mini Peegee. It's known as the Hardy Dwarf Hydrangea. Smaller leaves and flowers. It's called a Little Lamb and it so cute! I bought two to go on either side of a tree in my front yard. Creamy white flowers, the same shape as the peejee, but more delicate.
The other is the Limelight. I think that this one is my favorite! Light limey green flowers and raved to be VERY hardy! They turn dark pink in the fall.
Has anybody ever tried these?

What a great deal.....I like both ......I have a peegee on each side of the entrance that is now in bloom....The mini ones are sooo... cute .I think I will be checking out our CT store tomorrow.....Thanks for the info. :)
I wanted to add that I'd like to train the limelight into a small tree, since I've read that it's a great candidate for this. Has anybody else done this?
