new patio living room furniture

Here are some photos of our new patio living room furniture. We bought the umbrella last year actually, turns out to be a perfect match to this new set. We entertained weekend past and it worked out perfectly. It’ll eventually go on a patio, which'll have to be built. The two sofas and two arm chairs with coffee table can be rearranged in so many configurations, I just love it. The cushions were made for us by a friend last year as a wedding present. The silver balls in the centre actually have citronella oil for keeping the mozzies away. Also in the back ground is a sneak peak of our brand new fence that DH built, including custom made post caps. Also, garden shed under construction and the side of the fence that our neighbour still has to finish on his side.

I was just under the impression that you were getting that one, from the picture you posted before :) Where can one pick up those balls with oil in it?

Nope, not going to get one of those canopy things. We'll create privacy in the yard with plantings. At this point I don't care who's looking down on us, the umbrella gives a feeling of privacy and that's what's important.

Yes, at some point we want to rip out the deck and do a large patio, not in the budget for this year though.

Karen, that is very nice, but I though you were getting the canopy-like one in the previous picture you posted? The umbrella thing looks nice, but I just think it doesn't provide that much of a privacy, as you can still have people looking from those windows behind your house.

Are you guys planning to rip-out the little deck you have there, and making patio stones?

I see it in the background looks good what are you planning on housing in it. Where is the patio going in front of the shed?

I'll bring the cushions in in the winter, the rest stays outside year round.

They look so comfy and nice to have sofas and chairs that feel like living room furniture. Can they be left outside or do you have to bring them in. Very nice fence it gives you so much privacy and with neighbours so close it must be nice to have it.
