News...CFL's and UV Rays

Anyone see this on the news yesterday? Here is part of the story:
"CFLs are not provided with a prismatic diffuser that filters ultraviolet radiation out. Therefore, there may be skin sensitivity issues, especially in people with certain skin diseases."

Personally I am happy to see any reason I can use to get rid of the bulbs I have and now I have one.

Well it sure isn't comforting to have them warn to stay at least a foot away and not to be near them for more than an hour or so. Gads. What next, applying CFL screen to our skin?

Thanks for posting that dustbunnydiva, I don't get headaches from them, but I really don't like the way the light is when it's one.

I really don't like the light from CFLs :hurl: So yeah, any reason to NOT have them works for me!!
