i was outside playing around in my pond...trying to take advantage of the beautiful day that we are having up here....so i was leveling it off and straightening the ledge that the excavator dug for me....the original plan was that it was gonna be 10 feet all the way around and about an average depth of 4 1/2 feet....well i decided to measure it...i didn't think it was gonna be exactly 10 feet or anything....but....holy crap...i didn't think it was gonna be 20 feet wide X 30 feet long!!!!!!......and that doesn't include the extra that i need for the edge.....oh boy.....DH figured that the liner wouldn't cost that much...well...at that size...and at the cheapest price that i found for a good quality liner which is 79 cents/square foot....the thing is gonna cost close to $600.....LOL....when i told DH that...he says it would be cheaper to get the guy to come back in fill it in....over my dead body....hmmmm have i got my work cut out for me this summmer....LOL....

Can he not fill in part of it for you ??
I guess the boys will be making a Kontiki raft after all. LOL :) A pond that size may attract ducks, muskrat and beavers, lol.

well doing one that big is one way to stay in shape...the thought of calling someone in to just turn it into a pool has crossed my mind though...:p
