It PISSES ME OFF that creative, innovative, quirky shows NEVER get the chance that they deserve  Meanwhile, how many versions of CSI and Law & Order are there?????
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hairpull:

Almost all are the same. Lost isn't, Grays Anatomy isn't, just off the top of my head. I need more character devolopment to keep it interesting.
But really, isn't every TV show the same thing over and over each week?? A show's premise is always the same, so of course each episode is going to follow that premise, but with a different story and some different characters.
Anyway, who cares -- Simon Baker is HOT, that's really all that matters!!!! :p
Funny you mention that show Smoodgie, I enjoy looking at the actor who plays the lead character and I enjoyed the first couple of episodes but it's the same thing over and over again each week. I'm bored with it already yet it stays and other more brain teasing shows get canned.
Maybe they need a MENSA channel or something.
I watched Dead LIke Me off an on -- it was kind of a cool show.
I still don't know if Pushing Daisies is gone for good or if there are any episodes left -- the last episode I saw didn't wrap things up at all :hairpull:
THANK GOD The Mentalist gets good ratings!!!!
I'm almost tempted to never watch a Bryan Fuller show again.
First Dead Like Me
then Wonderfalls
now Pushing Daisies.
I just love the quirky humour in these shows, but I guess I am the minority!
I too will mourn yet another brilliant show that hasn't been given the chance it deserves....
I was saddened to hear that My Own Worst Enemy will be cancelled too.
I really enjoy that show but the good quality ones don't seem to last on network television for some reason. I suppose they aren't appreciated by most people who clearly seem to prefer to tune in to half hour sit coms that aren't really very funny.
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hairpull:!
Soooo True!!
