Yep, it's been driving me crazy as well.
I use this one [url]http://adblockplus.org/en/[/url]. I think the key factor is which browser you use rather than it being Mac or PC (at least from what I can see on their site). I use firefox so it works on that. When I use Safari, all the ads show. I just googled "ad blocker for safari" and it looks like there are a few.
yeah they pop up even with the pop up blocker i have. i get them at work too!

Where did you find one for your Mac.
Have you downloaded an ad blocker? They are usually free downloads and I thank mine everyday. No more ads, pop up or otherwise.
