Yay, here's the backsplash pictures. It seems like it kind of gets lost in the pictures.
I love that it adds an "age" and some texture to the space. It really ties the living room into the kitchen space which concerned me. I loved the look of the standard white subways that I'd originally purchased, but felt that it just didn't go with my open concept livingroom. if it was a closed in kitchen i would have used them.
So, what do you think? It's missing grout, the valences under the cabinets and the switch plate cpvers. I really like how the valences under the cabinets drop the cabinets lower than the microwave when they are in place, but other than that you should get the jist of it:)
We will grout the same colour as the tile. Now it's onto the fireplace wall, after the grout is done that is.....

That is great! WHat is the name of the tyle you used and colour? I am doing the same thing in an open concept condo (backsplash and fireplace). THis will look great on the fireplace, too!

Arizona, don't you love that pillow! I had already bought a pillow for my sofa but when I saw this one I had to have it. It actually jumped into my cart all on it's own!
I can't believe how much the splash has changed the feeling of the space. It just feels so warm and clean in person. I keep going and peaking at my kitchen. It's like it's new all over again! :confetti:
