orange tree

My daughter planted a few orange seeds when she was in Grade two. Although it bears no fruit it has grown into a lovely, healthy tree. This winter we do not have access to a greenhouse and would like advice as to where to keep it during the cold months.Your help is most appreciated!!

Sincerely,

Marnie

I think you should keep in moderate climate place where no more cold or hotness is there. Please cover  the tree with cotton cloth if you are keeping it in sun.

Hello Marnie,

If you don't have a greenhouse, it would be best to move the tree indoors. If you can, keep the tree in a garage or basement for a few days before bringing it into the house proper so it doesn't suffer from the temperature change. Alternatively, if you have a sunroom or enclosed (heated) porch, you could also keep it there for the winter.

Hope this helps!
