Orchid not blooming

Hi all, I'm hoping if someone could help me. I have an orchid that I bought in the early spring that I bought from Terra; it was in bloom, stayed in bloom for a couple of weeks & then died. I did as the woman advised & cut it back to the 2nd or 3rd node (sp?) Well it's been a few months now & nothing...the leaves are healthy & growing but no more blooms...I had an orchid a few years ago, had cut it right back & nothing ever happened with that one either. I water it once every week or every other week but I've never fertilized it. Should I be?? The one where I get my brows done is absolutely massive & beautiful & I meant to ask about it when I was there, I did see a girl fertilizing it. If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it!

Don't despair, it may take many months for the orhid to bloom again. And I mean many many months - the first one I got it was almost 18 months or so before it bloomed again. I have the fertilizer but have never used it.
