What does your D have planned so far? Want to see picture of the things I used for my wedding?
Oreo - I'd love to see some of things you used.
This may sound strange but I don't really know what she has planned. She lives in Ontario. They are thinking about one hundred people but these numbrs can grow quickly. It would be in September. Sometimes they think they should just go get married. This will be a second marriage for my daughter. He would really like a big wedding. I've told her she should always do what they both want not what anyone else thinks is how it should be done. I told her that if they go off and get married one weekend his parents can be there since they live in the same town and would be hurt. They can put the money saved into their house and have a big reception later if they want.
We have told all 4 of our kids our 'do what YOU want' philosophy about marriage. Both my daughters married men who really wanted weddings. I thought most men would like to elope. Both our sons got women who wanted big weddings.
