2,000 square feet of nice, juicy rolls! We've tilled, removed all the rocks and other debris (including 20+-year-old construction junk), raked, rolled, raked again and fertilized. Now it's off to roll out the new green carpet. Wish us luck! We'll probably be laid out flat, popping Advils later tonight!

Yes a soft rain is nice not the huge downpour we had when we were putting ours in. By the end of the day the rolls weighed a ton. Grass grew really good it was so wet we didn't have to worry about it drying out. I love sod instance lawn and looks so good.
Good Luck with your project.....Yes a nice soft rain AFTER you are finished would be nice......one nice thing about sodding ,it is an instant transformation :) Enjoy!
Failing that, get yourself a sprinkler hose.....
May it softly rain for the next two days for you.
