Outdoor Curtain Rod

We are looking for some outdoor curtain rods to hang  on our pergola. The only outdoor rods I can find are at Pottery Barn. Does anything know where else I can find them. Or alternatively, any DIY ideas?

Hi guys, thanks for reply.

Availability:Currently ships in approximately 2 weeks or less. Our shipping lead times vary depending on the season. Order early to avoid further delays.

We use the finest Sunbrella outdoor fabrics, and other fabrics, to make our quality custom rod pocket outdoor curtains. Our custom outdoor rod pocket curtains are available with several different pocket sizes to fit most wood or metal rod hardware. Choose from a variety of solid Sunbrella colors to coordinate your curtains with your décor and your outdoor living space will come alive!

Rod Pockets are the most popular way to hang your Outdoor Curtains or Drapes. A pocket is sewn onto the top of the curtain. A wood or metal curtain rod is inserted into the pocket at the top and the rest of the fabric is allowed to hang down from the rod.

All of our rod pocket outdoor curtains are hand made here in North America to your custom specifications. Our custom outdoor curtains provide unmatched quality and durability. Unlike curtains you can find at many "Big Box" or mail order catalogs, our curtains are made to provide you with long lasting quality that you'd expect from a quality custom outdoor curtain or drape.

I've used the stretchy clothesline type of coated wire on my pergola. You can buy it at any Home hardware; it comes in bulk, off the roll, or in pre-measured packages, by Levelor. Haven't got a package, so, don't know what it's actually called. It comes with hook and eyes; the eye gets screwed into the pergola, or whatever and the hook gets screwed into the end of the wire.

It's a difficult thing to describe,,even to the clerk at the store.

Gee you should be able to use just about anything as long as you put some rust protection or a good exterior sealer on it. Go for whatever works and get some exterior spray coating that will work.
