Yep, I saw that. Just sending a personal response to our nicolet. Personally, I do not even want to address her threads but she caught me at a bad moment.

If you check the original posts you may notice Smoodgie had to go in and remove some self-promotion. That's usually a pretty good clue to similar questions from one poster.

I received notification that Restoration Hardware is discounting their outdoor seasonal items.
(actually they are having reductions in most items)

Will keep that in mind. If you beat me there let me know what you think.

We want the rattan (??) stuff that can stay out year round.

Eliza - there's a place on 12th/Grandview Hwy, near The Brick, that specializes in outdoor furniture and things like that. Why not check them out... I assume they'd carry stock all year long and at this time of year they may have clearances. I'm going to check them out myself.

... it would never have occurred to me to check out Costco in Feb! I don't tend to go there regularly cuz we don't have kids at home anymore and don't buy large amounts of stuff. I definitely will go now that you've given me a heads up.

I do agree about getting to the stuff the stores are displaying really early.

Often the merchandise arrives in late winter when there is no sight of spring summer ahead but you need to order or purchase it right away to ensure you don't delay too long and then end up finding out that all sold out.

If you think that you would rather wait for end of season or clearance summer merchandise, you might end up not getting the selection or items you had originally wanted.

Last season, I saw some very nice items at Canadian Tire, Loblaws and The Bay.

Good design, value for the price.

Start looking just after the stores put away the xmas holiday stuff making room for the new patio furniture arrivals.
It seems very early, but you will get choice and selection.

Welcome. It does seem the real trick is to get what you like early as they often don't restock. Costco had some great stuff last year. I think it starts to roll into most stores in Feb and it's really good to figure out what works in your climate and what you do with it if you have winter. That would give you some idea of what materials to look for.
