The paint on my kitchen ceiling is cracked and peeling in places exposing the plaster underneath. I think they used an oil based paint. I also have one corner where it is sagging a bit because of a previous leak from the toilet upstairs.
I'm thinking of scraping the bad areas and using drywall compound to fill and smooth the ceiling.
Good idea? Other suggestions?
I need some advice.
