There was a moving sale on weekend, and I found a sideboard for a steal. It has a brownish grain to it,2 sliding glass doors ,and 2 small doors on botton half.I want to paint the inside of it,not sure what colour to use.I want it to pop,I do not think I will paint the outside, maybe too much work, and I could make a big mess.Any suggestions,I will be so happy, thanks.

I think picking a shocking or unusual colour would be great — whatever you like! You could also wallpaper the inside...
Just pick your favorite colour and go for it. As long as you like the colour you won't mind looking at it. Also, you will only see the colour when the door(s) are open. The other option is to pick a colour that is in your carpet, throw pillows or painting and then that will help tie in to the room.
Try to use black color as it blends what ever color you like to paint to your sliding door.
