Image: living roomImage: living roomNeed help with Kitchen colour help....I need some advice on kitchen colour. My living and dining room is an open concept and that area and the rest of the house is painted Benjamin Moore's - Revere Pewter. My kitchen is behind the dining room and gets the afternoon sun. VERY sunny which is beautiful. The cabinets are white, the floor tiles are a light off-whitish/creamish colour and the contertops are an espresson brown cesar stone. Stainless steel appliances. I'd like some suggestions of a complimentary grey or other colour that would really pop and look beautiful with Revere Pewter. You can see into the kitchen from the living room/dining area. I would like the area to still feel very warm and open feeling.

My living/dining room is Revere Pewter walls, Furniture is light beige/ grey and accent colour is a mustard yellow.Image: kitchenImage: kitchen

Try Benjamin Moore Chelsea Gray (it's dark) but beautiful gray. Also Sandy hook gray is a great one!

How do you feel about yellow?  It would be a great way to repeat the accent colour in your LR/DR.  My favorite yellow is hawthorne yellow, but BM pale moon OC-108 is a lighter option.  You'd have to choose a shade that works well in the light of your kitchen.

If you go to this site  http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/reverepewter  there are some tabs beside the 3 colour combo saying "Goes Great With",  "More Colour Combo", "See more shades".  This could be very helpful.  I was going to suggest Wooden Swing by Benjamin Moore - I have it on my kitchen walls with ivory cabinets and a faux beige stone flooring.  Love the colour but it is dark.  This site suggests some browns similar to what I have.  I love the green(Winding Vines) they suggest under "Goes Great With".  If you paint the walls the brown suggested and then use the green as accents for curtains, sink rug, pottery on the counter, etc.
