My husband and I purchased a new home that is open concept in living/dining room. The floor plans are below. The builder said they will paint the walls the colour of our choice if we wanted to provide the paint for specific colours. I'm not a huge fan of the BM Aura paints just because from our experience the walls were hard to get clean if anything got on it. However, I do like BM paint colours.
These are the colours I'm considering for the various rooms etc. Would love some feedback and suggestions:
Kitchen- (faces west and has sliding door and window over the sink) White Kitchen Cabinets, cesar stone counter tops (still have not confirmed what colour for counters but husband wants brown) Kitchen floors are a light off-white/cream porcelin style tile.
PAINT COLOUR I liked for kitchen walls was- silver satin or manchester tan? (wanted something fairly light but warm)
Living room/Dining room/Hallway/Front entrance and staircase (faces east -I wanted these areas to also feel warm yet neutral enough to go with my cream sofa. Still haven't got a dining room table...but was thinking glass. Floors are dark hardwood. I would love a focal wall colour for dining room wall.
PAINT COLOURS I liked were Revere Pewter, Wish, Thunder, Stormy
Dining Wall Accent- Kendall Charcoal/Affinity Sparrow/ Dunbar Grey ?(not sure which one)
Lower Level- There is in this area a sliding door and also a window. Faces West. (Espresso Brown leather couch and carpet is cream colour)
Lower Level paint colours I'm considering but not sure about-I want it to be workable with the rest of the house so it has a flow (Moore's Stone Brown/Grant Beige)
Would love some suggestions or if you've tried these colours what did you think. etc.
