1. Use exterior paint - you don't swy why you want to use interior so I can't think why you can't use an alkyd exterior paint
2. try painting a board or just one patch of a wall and wait till spring and see what happens !
I have two people I know with 3 season rooms and they have never had a problem with indoor latex paint. They are in Ottawa & Montreal so gets cold in winter. :) I don't think it should be a worry as bathrooms gets moisture and many use latex paint on the walls. Once the nice weather comes comes after a cold winter they open all the windows and let the area ventilate. I have never heard them complain about any damp smell either. Both have cane furniture with upholstery and area rugs too.
