Hey guys and gals,
I was wondering if anyone know if it is possible to paint appliances (fridge, oven, microwave??!) I think it sounds crazy.... but is it possible?!
And if so, what kind of paint should I use and where can I get it in Southern Canada?!
Thanx

Hi - did you paint the door ceil or leave it white? I'm thinking it would affect the ceil and not paint it but will it look funny? I'm going to look at new black fridges today to see if they have black seals.
Sorry it took me a while to reply, I was busy with work...
Anyhow, the project worked awesomely.. I bought the chrome paint.. and was afraid that it might be too "chrome/mirror" like. However, it turned out into a frosty silver with a slight sparkle. Very distinctive. THe only problem was that it was a paint, not a spray, therefore there are areas on the side of our fridge that has a little bit of paint brush strokes on it... Otherwise. It was an awesome idea. Thanx a bunch guys!!!
I will send pics asap....
I've been waiting anxiously to hear about your stove painting experience. How did it go?
I'm very interested in your results so if you could please post details on how you did it. I've got a fridge I want to paint black. Good luck!!!
THanx everone for your help!
I just bought 2 cans of stainless steel paint at Home depot... 28.95 per can. Not too shabby... We're going to paint tomorrow... I'll let u know how it turns out
I'd love some of this. I've only been able to find various tones o grey, silver, shiny, etc at the hardware stores. I'd love some true stainless paint.
Hi, In an earlier post, I mentioned that there is actual stainless steel paint, not just metalic paint that looks like SS, but 316grade paint. It is used in the food processing industry, etc, to touch up machines, etc. I am planning to do my fridge and stove to match the dishwasher. I'll let everyone know how it turns out. The price is $29/per can. This project keeps getting bumped down the list.
a link that might help you. It is about painting a refridgerator.
Hope it helps.

The Counter material is probably wooden Laminate.... is there a way to paint that?
