Need some advice on which wall the darker colour should be, even if that matters. I created the layout in a Word document, but I can't upload it so I'll describe it as best as I can.
Once you walk through the door, there's a wall on the left and right, which are the longest and a wall in front, the shortest. On the right, there are 2 very small windows. That's where we are planning to place the TV mounted on the wall. We're planning on getting a sectional couch facing the TV which will be against the other long wall. We also have a walk-in closet on the same wall as the doorway.
I was thinking of painting the right wall a chocolate brown since that's where the TV will go and all other walls a light beige or taupe.
My question, does it make more sense to paint the shorter wall chocolate and the opposite walls the beige/taupe?
