I have painted all the trim, baseboards, doors, stair risers in my home recently in Sarah Richardson's paint line with the Para color - SR Cotton. It is a soft cream. My third floor is a soon to be nursery with a soft pink under chair rail and SR snowfall above ( a warm white) as well as on the ceiling. The bathroom is a soft pink and Snowfall vertical stripes. The SR color Snowfall was painted by accident recently instead of SR cotton on the stair risers going to the nursery (which is the only room on the third floor.) As well as on all windowpanes, doors, baseboards etc. on this third floor. It looks so nice and fresh next to the pink and snowfall.
Although my painter will redo it in cotton at no extra cost as it was an error, now I am tempted to leave it as is as it looks great with the white and pink. Cotton might look too dark. My question is whether I should have the trim, baseboards and stair risers consistent through out my house ( repaint it cotton) or have the third floor trim etc done in Snowfall because it looks better next to the pink and white. Please let me know.
Many thanks!
