Has anyone heard about these delicious little darlings? While at the cottage this summer I came across these little squashes at the farmer's place we usually stop by and buy some fresh veggies to cook while we're staying at the cottage and sometimes bring home as well, as in this case. I brought some extra patty pans and cooked them according to the farmer's recipe and came out delicious.
I have eaten these patty pans in restaurants but didn't know what they were called, I used to think they were regular squashes.
If you google "patty pans" you'll see what they look like......the ones I bought were very bright yellow.
