Here is the front of my house and I need some ideas of what to put out and where to put pots of plants or trees to warm up the outside. Now remember I have to have room to back out of the garage so it can't be sticking way out. The center garage we don't go in and out of on a regular basis.

How about a window box for the outer of the 2 windows (will it look weird to not treat both windows the same??) and 2 large hanging pots filled with pink or purple million bells or wave petunias (they both get so huge and full) then buy a beautiful iron urn for the side of the garage and fill that with petunias or million bells too. In the pic I showed all the same flowers in all plantings but mix it up if you want to.
Details, details...they always get in the way.
Do you have a shot of the house from the front that shows more of the other side too? Maybe something from straight on?
Do you have enough room to build some raised beds or to plant some trees or something on the side of the driveway that wouldn't get in the way of cars moving in and out of the garages? What about a nice little (4') wrought iron fence that you could hang baskets or lights from?
Thats the neighbours yard you drew it on and he has built a house there. Sorry mine just starts at the driveway. My realtor wants some sort of green on the cement drive she thinks it is to much cement.
Great job DBD! :applaud: What a difference!!!!
Nice job you did....now that's curb appeal that the house was lacking.
You have created a nice courtyard effect.
I thought I'd play around so here is a mock up with a stone wall, arbour, some flower boxes and stuff.
How about mounting a half-circle pot directly on the wall on that bit of space to the left of the smaller garage, and growing a small assortment with a bit spilling over to hang down? I'm also thinking of a bench in front of the windows in the sheltered spot, maybe with a side table on one side and a large ceramic pot on the other. You could also place a hanging basket on either side of the other window which is more forward on the far right.
