Coming soon, but I am contemplating going up to TO to inspect my order first, as well as making a teeny tiny pit stop at RH and PB....
I will get the rest for the house on this next one...
We're making one cigar library, for hunky to play in, I will stay away from the decor on this one, as he has promised to stay away from the rest of the house:D

beachy, but everything must not match! Matchy-matchy is not a compliment.

I will squint when I look at the photo and see if I am able to see your hat.

What about that next order?

A hat with a dagger secured with a whip.

I am seriously considering the mirror too, I like the photo, but not sure if it is suited there, I don't mind it there, but I don't think it adds to the beachy feel. At the same time, that fireplace isn't very beachy either, argh.
Unfortunately I can't move the sofas over more, they must stay, there's a doorway a bit further up on opposite wall.
I haven't taken a picture of the other direction, because my table and bench looks so sad :(

Dreamer, I have several nice blue bottles, I will do something with them soon :)
The pictures are too blury to see it.

Somehow, I pictured you wearing a hat. Go figure.

Can you stand with your back to the fireplace and take a picture for us to see? I recall the door is at the other end of this room.

I love your sofas and your room. The fireplace is nice too, however I'm not loving the print over it. It's not you is it? Anyway, I think your idea of a mirror is a better idea, maybe flanked by antique white candleholders. I don't know whats on the other side of the room, but I was wondering how about moving the sofa in front of the window and the love seat over a few feet more so you can have more of a grouping in front of the firplace. Then maybe you can place a sofa table or large plant behind the sofa. Great choice again for the sofa.

Are you surprised? :D

Actually, it was payment for a job I did :) not the man in the picture, but the guy that took it.

something in blue glass on your mantle. Perhaps a seashell or two - or is that too literal an interpretation of beach for you?

I am dying to know what will be in the next Ikea order. Do tell.

Don't want to upset the decor police too much :D Artsy would have a snit fit if she saw the lack of symmetry...It all looks really messy in the pictures, pay no attention to the curtain rod and the unstructured curtains :) I swear it is all in sync now :D
The pics was taken on the first day, things have gotten better :)

Was my initial plan, couldn't find it, so I went for plan B, couldn't wait :)

I just chuked them up there, had to get it all up and running right away :D
I need to add one more picture there, I think that will solve the floating problem :)
And the lamp isn't there anymore, just so that is clear :D

I am VERY happy for you! So glad you got those sofas... I remember your first post, where you spoke of hugging the sofas in the store...I thought "what a crackpot"!

Even though I stand by my original opinion of you, I think your home looks great! I love your windows and I think you should just embrace the Artsy and Craftiness of that fireplace and learn to love it too.

Where are the wrinkles? I dont see you in those pictures?

I think the picture just makes the picture look off centered :D
I measured :D
Notsure if I should add more black up there, but I do like the idea of perhaps more "stuff" :)
Do you think the picture looks a bit small for the mantle? I am thinking it does....

Oh, and disregard TV too :D

My question, should I keep this picture on the mantle? I've seen a nice large mirror with white frame that I was drooling over, not sure if it would go with my ugly fireplace though....Opinions?
