I need to order new blinds and have a dilemma. I cannot fit the blinds inside the window trim/frame, because of the type of window. The blinds must be installed outside of the trim. Details are:
-wall is deep raspberry
-frame is white
-window is very large
-window is immediately above my large, low dresser (looks almost like a mirror would atop a low dresser)
-dresser is cherry
The blinds will be 2" wood slat venetians, in cherry to match the dresser. The question is:
Should the blinds be cut to the exact width of the window frame or should they be cut an inch or so wider?
I will be grateful for your opinions.
