Hello!
First time poster here...and I need some help before I go mad! I can't find the curtains that go in your front door window anywhere! Zellers, Sears, Walmart, etc. I see the little rods that you use....but no darn curtain!! I don't know how to sew either! If anyone can send me in the right direction, I would really really appreciate it!
Many thanks!

I know that you can buy them - I was sure that Sears used to have them. The film that was suggested is really good too. I live in a townhouse and have a side window that looks into my neighbours kitchen, so I used some of that stuff and it's great. It just comes with water too. Sorry I can't be of any more help - good luck with the search.
Before I installed shutters on my window in the front doors...I used that film that you can buy for glass..........I think the roll was $8 bucks and you cut and apply...and it easily lifts off .......or you could use those temporary paper blinds from HD...you cut and stick..............just a suggestion until you find a more permanent solution...
Have you tried Home Outfitters? They usually have a good assortment of sheers.
You could always consider picking up a set of sheers that have a tab top on them and augmenting them. No sewing just pick out or just cut out the tab tops and open the side seams on the top and hemmed bottom for your rod pocket. Or you could use the no sew hem tape that you just iron on to close a seam. Then you can choose a fabric , get the length you need and just iron the top and bottom closed.
Have you checked linen and things? Try Homedepot.ca online as well. Good luck and welcome. :)
