pocket door installation help please!

We managed to remove the pocket door in our older home for repair. We did some surfing on the net and found that it could be done without taking apart the wall-all we had to do was take off a bit of finishing trim around one side of the opening and tilt the door just right to get the wheels out of the track. That part went o.k. (especially since one wheel mechanism had fallen off in the wall cavity-we only had to jiggle ONE free)

So, now that 2 wheel mechanisms are properly installed, is there a secret tip on how one gets the wheels back in the track? We've made our attempts but we're pretty hopeless!

Instead of using your old hardware and just fixing the door go and get new hardware. Our house was built in the 80's and they used 2 wheels only that kept falling off when my toddlers would slam them shut. We managed to find new hardware that makes it impossible for the wheels to fall off the track. I think they run about $20 per door plus the new track. The moulding has to come off and it does seem impossible that the door will go back in but with some sweat and swearing it really will..good luck.
