Looking for some input.
We have a square dining room and currently the light is positioned in the centre of the room. Our table though is rectangular and the way the room is positioned, the table cannot be centred underneath the light.
My issue is that I would like to purchase a new rectangular shaped chandelier to be parrallel with the table but I know it won't be able to be centred unless we swag it and most of the lights I like/see don't have a chain for swagging.
Thoughts? Is it horrible if it's not centred? Can it be placed opposite the direction of the dining room table instead of parrallel?
I've attached a photo - please ignore the mess; we're in the middle of a small reno :-)
