Hi everyone! This question is for those of you who do a lot of art - painting on canvas, especially. I'm just wondering where you paint and draw. Do you have a special room? Outside? In the kitchen?
I like to draw and that's easy enough to do anywhere in the house, but I'm thinking that painting is much more messy, especially if kids are around.

I too have to find a spot to settle my paints and canvases.
I used to paint a lot, before I had children, they are still young so I will have to wait until they can contain themselves not to fiddle with my paint and brushes.
The other problem is once I start painting an area of the painting, I need to finish it, and not be interupted by the children, otherwise it will dry, or the paint will dry, and mixing the same colour again can be tricky.
So maybe I should stick to Pastels for now.
It bothers me that I am not using my talent at the moment, especially as hubby bought me new canvases and a beautiful box filled with acrylic piants and brushes for Christmas, and I still haven't found the oppurtunity to paint even a little picture.
So I shall keep an eye on this post to see where I too can make My Spot in my house.
