Staircase view from main floorSo I have this gorgeous oak stair case that I love..and need to add a railing with newel posts and all. Just to give you an idea of my tastes..I love older styles, shabby chic with elemnents of modern. I like traditional and classic. I want the railing to be wood I know that much. And I like substantail looking ones like you'd find in older homes.
If anyone has any ideas...or pictures would be great. I'd really appreciate it

Pictures are what they look like now. The house is still under construction, but we need the staircase to have it passed by inspector.
