OK

I was just going to mention Sheridan Nurseries in Kitchener, but Mrs. Peacock beat me to it. I went on the annual HopeSpring Christmas House Tour on the weekend and the garland I really liked was from Sheridan, very realistic!
I prefer simplicity, something like this:

but with silver pinecones, maybe a little more greenery. I like the centerpiece to stay on the table during the meal but if it's too big, then we end up taking it off the table and don't get to enjoy it.
Tapers are nice too:

You may want to order live garland and greenery from Christmas Farms (free shipping)

HomeSense and Bowring have some really pretty Christmas ideas:

Usually a really good garden center such as Sheridan Nursery in Kitchener, ON will have some really nice garland. I know I have seen it in the past but it is usually out of my price range. You know the kind that has pine cones and sticks attached - realistic looking.
Good question. I am interested too.
Connected with Christmas decorations - what is everyone's favourite table centre piece?
