OK

to post such a delicious looking recipe where those of us trying to watch what we eat can see it. :)
I'm just going to have to try it soon. Maybe this weekend, thanks so much for sharing. I wish I had a recipe that I could share with you but I'm not a very good cook.

I can't wait to try the recipe -- it's even more decadent than I thought!! :D
I think you are right - I sent mine out a week ago and haven't got one response yet. Oh well, I tried!
Rolo Cookies
¾ cup cocoa
2 ½ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
½ cup chopped pecans (optional)
50 rolos (5 packages)
Mix together cocoa, flour and baking soda until well blended in a small bowl. Set aside
In a large bowl, beat sugars and butter until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs. Beat well.
Add flour mixture and blend well.
Stir in pecans.
Roll 1 tablespoon of dough in palm of hand to form a flattened circle.
Press rolo into circle and then cover it completely.
Place cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 F for 7-10 minutes.
Cool for 2 minutes on cookie sheet and then remove onto wire racks.
That sounds delicious and decadent!! Would you be willing to post the recipe here??
A chain letter is a chain letter.
