I thought at least one of my friends were going to back out and want to take the Gondola up but no such luck. Around every bend my one friend kept telling me I'm sure the top is right here. It was a living hell climbing that moutian but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Everytime I am doing something challeging now I just think remember the moutian!!!
Well I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves.
Gee climbing Sulphur mountain is pretty ambitious. that'll give you jello knees in no time.
It was awesome, thanks for asking! We arrived in Calgary abaout 3:00 and checked into our hotel, The Hyatt, it was very nice and then headed to Ikea. We ,spent a good 3 hours there. I didn't buy too much, mainly just some shelves and picture frames. It was after nine when we got out of there so we were tired, since we left Regina at 6:00am that morning. We had planned to go out that night but decided just to go for supper at Hooters. Talk about stepping into the 80's but I really enjoyed the food. Our waitress was quite entertaining, she pulled up a stool and told us all about all the rules at Hooters. She also informed us that they were trying to open a Hooters in Saskatoon but since the city is run by Memonites they won't allow it. That is the first I have ever heard of the Menonites running Saskatoon? Then we went back to the hotel and crashed for the night.
Saturday we got up and went swimming and then went to Ulimate Blue? a jena outlet, we all bought at least one pair which was nice with four girls. Then we walked to Lululemon. Then we went to Seanachies for lunch, we recieved the worst service EVER! I would never recommend that place. the we went to Jacob, Mexx, Guess, La Senza, La Chateau, Shoe Warehouse and Reitmans. Then we headed to Chinock. Then we wanted to go to Olive Garden for supper but there was an hour wait so we went to the Keg instead, Then we went to the hotel got ready and headed to Cowboys. That cost almost $20 before we even had a drink. It was a good time though. Almost all guys and they just stand at the bar watching the bartenders and their barely there uniforms. We got home arounf 2:15.
Sunday we drove to Banff and climbed Sulfar mountian to get to the Gondola, what a living hell. That thing is 5000 feet and took 2 1/2 hours to get up, that is all on an incline. It really made the ride down worth it though. Then we headed to main Street and went to the Fudge Factory and then to the Hot Springs which were less then impressive. Then back to Calgary and then to the Olive Garden.
Monday we just got up and headed home. It was really nice to get away and just be busy the whole time without feeling too busy.
