We have moved into a new house and I would really like to replace the standard "builder's" ceramic bathroom accessories (towel bar, toilet paper holder). I am uncertain about how to do this. Is there an easy way then just smashing them into pieces? How big of a hole will I be left with? Any tips would be appreciated!

the same thing & it was a pain!! If I knew they would glue them on I would have told them not to even bother installing them. Luckily they forget the toilet roll so less holes to patch. How we did it was we just pried it underneath with a spatula tool (or whatever you call that thing) & it came off easily but you will have to patch. Good luck!
