Removing wax is easy with the help of a hair dryer , just heat the wax and gently scrape off with a knife or credit card / plastic cards
Use trasparent lubricating oil and then scrub the wax with the help of abrasive scrubber. This wont affect the texture of the wall. Also you can use pertroleum jelly in place of lubricating oil.
Thanks I'm thinking about the cloth and iron. Just need some time for it is soo busy right now - but I think it will wait!

Have you tried the hair dryer ,followed by a damp paper towel. I am hoping that the wax is white/clear and not deep red or green....leaving a stain?? :-(
