I saw a recipe on Cityline that I want to make -- it's a pasta dish with plain yoghurt, onions, garlic, basil, and peas. I hate peas, so I'm trying to think of what to replace them with. I was thinking maybe cherry or sundried tomatoes, shrimp, chicken...... anything else??

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up using red & green pepper and shrimp. The recipe was disappointing -- quite bland. Hubby called it "subtle" :D
I've always liked brocolli with pasta...
Or edamame beans or green beans or brocolli or lima beans or pretty much anything you like? One thing about a dish like that is it's flexible.
How about some red and green peppers?
If you want the green colour you could try asparagus chopped into bite-size pieces.
