Heard this on the wires this morning, can't believe what I was hearing really. To ask someone for help now, now involves having second thoughts

If I was a judge and this sort of case came to me, I'll find the people for bringing it to me in the first place

Just when you thought you knew it all eh ;)
But I'd never heard of "her indoors". Thanks for enlightening me!
I just realised some of typos above...........
In the post above, I meant she works, and also towards the end of that post, I meant "you guys say geezer to MEAN old man " :D
I need to get my long fingers reduced
Am glad that you've seen the light, that has come thru' the Glas :D Am not a mysogynist, contrary to what some here might want to believe, and everyone that knows me, knows that whenever there is a conversation about women, I won't stand for any put-down or demeanor.
The term BIRD is used for girlfriends in the UK, like they have SHEILAS in Australia, I never did refer to any of my ex friends as that.
I didn't think it was meant as a demeaning term, just being nosey! Now if you referred to her as "The little woman" or something like that then...(LOL)
Some morons might say, why stop at a rrrrrollllll up the rim cup, when you can ask to get half of someone's house, cottage, child, patner ( hold on, some already do that, the I was with him/her first memory lane malarky )
Makes you think twice now, before you ask for help doesn't it, even when it's not Timmies cup. You better watch who you ask to take your kids to hockey practice, who you ask to help renovate your house
huh...my sons hockey trainer takes him to lots of games for me...uh oh!!!!! ...LOL
The sage effect :p
on this gray day, your sunny disposition is always welcome!!
awwww shucks O...ya did it again!!! ;)
Yes, I know about HBC being taken over by an American billionaire...
I can still ask questions can I not?......
Of course you can sweetie, I just thought you were ulling my leg that's all :D
thanks Jen.......

It's not a demeaning term if that is what you are thinking OK. She woks, she a mother, and still has time for the house. It's a british way of refering to your significant other in the house.
Women will say "him indoors". Next time you meet a Brit, run it by them. You guys say geezer to meet an old guy, but in England, geezer or mate means buddy.
Howzat?
of course you can O...don't listen to him.... :D ...just listen to me...LOL
glas.....I'm not ill informed completely.....

Oh lord........these people need to be given a frontal lobotomy  Who else is going to come out for a piece of the cake, the person that served the coffee, the manufacturer of the cup, the truck driver that delivered the cups to that store?

Why do you call your wife "her indoors"? Just curious. ;)
Next you will be saying you don't know the HBC is now a yank company as well? They will be running the provinces soon the way things are going, I hope not, because that is when I'll pack my bags, and her indoors will have to go live in Europe afterall
I heard on CJOH news last night that the teacher who bought the coffee and threw away the cup is getting in on the act and wanting the money. You can take $25,000 instead of the car.
hey O...Wendy's owns them...can't remember exactly when....but it's been a while now
I think the kid that found it should win the prize.
Seems you could say, someone buys a lottery ticket and because of failing eyesight asks their neighbour to read the numbers for them...if it was a winner....you think the neighbour has a right to the prize...??ridiculous..
so, news to me, since when has Tim Horton's been Americanized?
oh don't get me wrong ...i won't specifically leave my house to go get a Timmies...and when i do stop...unless i have the kids with me i get out of my car and go into the store...it's alot quicker....but there's times when i will have 4 or Timmies a week to i won't have Timmies for weeks...
You can always make your own, and put it in a thermos flask, like the old days, well people still do that anyway ;)
ya well i only drink the coffee...i'm not really into sweets and donuts and all that stuff...but nobody makes coffee like Timmies!!!...geez if we boycott all things American...well that's just a whole other debat that i'd rather not get into right now
Am not into Tim Hortons, I just think it another way to make people put on the weight, and to have longer queues at the stores. The company is American now anyway, so perhaps that is one good reason for people to even boycott it
why not sell the Rav4....split the money between the girls and use towards their education...never fails tho'...all i ever won was another coffee or a cookie.... :D
The world is full of greed now, and it's always a case of what is in it for me? The lottery one in BC or Alberta is another. OK so I forgot to pay one week, it doesn't mean if the group wins, am not entitled to part of the win.
It's times like that, that you know who your real friends are  Someone suggested they do it the "Solomon way in the Bible", cut the RAV4 into 2 and share it :D
I agree with you Glas, the judge should fine them! I can't believe the greed of some people. What a great lesson to teach your children.
I couldn't believe it now they are fighting over who has rights to the Rava4 to bad the kid couldn't do it herself so she askes for help.
